Teacher
Emily has been dancing since she was three years old. She was a competitive dancer and had the opportunity to work with top choreographers in the US, such as Billy Bell, Lauren Adams, Andrew Winghart and Chloe Arnold. She moved to Nashville 6 years ago for college. During her time in undergrad, she danced on the Vanderbilt Dance Team and was awarded veteran of the year during her last season. She also received a minor in dance with an emphasis on dance education. Emily had numerous opportunities to choreograph for the Vanderbilt Dance Team, Belmont dance department, and dance programs in local schools. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in occupational therapy and working at a local hospital. Emily loves any opportunities to combine OT and dance; one of her passions is the accessibility of dance for all children. During her free time, she is a volunteer at an adaptive dance program. Emily loves to teach and see the kids she works with reach their goals both in and out of the studio!
